10 September - Family Fun day in Castle Park


Come and design yourself a fabulous flag to put on your bike at the Cycle Colchester stall.

We will be there between 11am and 4pm offering information and advice for anyone interested in cycling, including local maps, leaflets and fun things to do by bike in addition to our flag making activity to keep the kids busy!

There will be lots going on including bouncy castles, a BBQ, Tiny Tea tent, dog show and lots of other free fun family activities. Find out more on the Family Fun day website

Find out about the e-bikes he has built, his campaigning for better cycle links particularly between towns and his lobbying for ebikes to be recognised as a mobility aid. 'Getting the bus is causing me big problems, but cycling is good. Going to work by bus I’m sitting down for an hour and a half and I’d have to take painkillers before going to work, but not when I’m cycling.'
