What is a Dr Bike Check? – it’s a free basic check undertaken by a knowledgeable cyclist or in the case of Velo a Cytech qualified mechanic. It will highlight any work required or replacement parts, and usually you will be given a completed checklist to show their findings. If any work is required it is up to you whether you go ahead with it and who you get to do the work but you will have to pay for it.
Most Dr Bikes will carry out minor tweaks and adjustments to make your bike run smoother, different Dr Bikes use different check lists but for a general idea of what will be covered take a look at this Dr Bike checklist
Sunday 5 July Launch of Colchester Bike Kitchen, Waiting Room, off Queen St, beside Firstsite
