Spin eScooter Trials
Spin eScooter trials have come to Colchester and they’ve now been rolled out across the borough. All you need to ride is a provisional driving license and the Spin app on your phone. The trials are being run as a nationwide pilot scheme to test the safety and useability of eScooters on our roads.

The Scooters are being trialled across Essex in Basildon, Braintree, Brentwood, Clacton Chelmsford and Colchester and the hope is they will be used instead of driving

Sustrans big pedal
Sustrans Big Pedal will run for 10 days from 19 – 30 April and is open to all primary and secondary schools in the UK, including SEN schools.

Sustrans Big Pedal inspires pupils, staff and parents to be amazing and take active journeys to school. On each day of the challenge, schools compete to see who can get the highest percentage of their pupils, staff and parents cycling, walking, wheeling or scooting to school. Your school’s best five days will determine your final position, but you can log journeys on all ten days if you wish.

Register your school now for the UK’s biggest inter-school cycling, walking, wheeling and scooting competition.
